Kent Street Coalition wrote a letter to Governor Kelly Ayotte asking for her assurance that her Judicial Nominees would uphold the rule of law and hand-delivered it to her office. Download the full content of our letter here.

Governor Ayotte is expected to soon nominate an individual to fill an upcoming vacancy on the NH Supreme Court. Kent Street Coalition has formally asked her to ensure that her candidate understands the role of the judiciary in preserving our democracy, given Trump’s disregard for the separation of powers and his ongoing attacks on judges, the independence of judiciary and the very rule of law, on which our democracy is founded.   We gave the Governor questions for the nominee and requested that she make public her or his answers.
