What: Postcard Writing Campaign
When: Sunday, July 27, 1-3pm
Where: Gibson’s Bookstore, Concord OR The Old Town Hall, 10 Paige Memorial Lane, Weare (next to the Weare Public Library)
Why: Educate Voters on the Free Stater/Liberty Alliance
Kent Street Coalition has teamed up with Southern NH Indivisible and the Weare Democrats for a postcard writing campaign. Our mission is to handwrite 2500 postcards to undeclared voters in Weare. Every aspect of this postcard will be handwritten; the message, the address, everything! Think of it as a handwritten note to your neighbor. We want to help them understand who the Free Stater/Liberty Alliance are and how they are hurting their community. Need more information on the Free Staters and the Liberty Alliance? Visit Granite State Matters or watch this 9 minute video “What’s really happening in NH.”
Pre-stamped postcards, addresses, and a detailed message will be provided. You will need to write the address and message on the postcards. Postcards will be distributed in packs of 10. The minimum obligation is 10, and we are asking volunteers to donate $7.00/pack to cover the postage. Of course, you are welcome to do more than 10, but that is the minimum.
You can participate in one of THREE ways:
- Join us at Gibson’s (45 S. Main St, Concord) on July 27th from 1-3pm to write your postcards, and let’s have some fun while we do it.
- Join us at The Old Town Hall in Weare (10 Paige Memorial Lane, next to the Weare Public Library) on July 27th from 1-3pm to write your postcards. Sign up here
- Pick up postcards at Gibson’s OR The Old Town Hall in Weare to write them from the comfort of your own home. They will need to be dropped off at the local post office on the morning of Wednesday, July 30th.
It is critical that all postcards go out in the mail on the same day. Note: There will be postcard writing events taking place in Weare and Concord on the same day.
A member of Southern NH Indivisible team will be at Gibson’s on the 27th to distribute postcards.
If you have questions prior to the event, please email Southern NH Indivisible at SNHI54@gmail.com.
