Billionaires profit from our labor, while we struggle to survive. It’s time to show up, speak out, and stand together.

Organized by May Day Strong in partnership with 50501, Indivisible and others (listed here), Workers Over Billionaires is another mass mobilization illustrating the power and unity of the people of the United States.
From the organizers:
Labor and community are planning more than a barbecue on Labor Day this year because we have to stop the billionaire takeover. Billionaires are stealing from working families, destroying our democracy, and building private armies to attack our towns and cities.
Just like any bad boss, the way we stop the takeover is with collective action. We are May Day Strong, working people rising up to stop the billionaire takeover–not just through the ballot box or the courts, but through building a bigger and stronger movement.
On September 1st we will continue the movement we launched on May 1st. Thousands of communities across the country are taking a stand on Labor Day, join us!
Come together in a show of support for the society we deserve:
- Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government.
- Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.
- Fully funded schools, healthcare and housing for all.
- Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black, indigenous, trans people, and all our communities.
- Invest in people not wars.
From the organizers at May Day Strong: We expect all hosts and participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

The Bridge Brigade has grown into a vibrant community built on solidarity, empowerment, and shared leadership. Individual bridges are “owned” by local groups that set their own weekly schedules, while dedicated chat rooms connect these mini-communities across the state. During statewide or national actions, the NH Bridge Brigade admin team coordinates distribution across the bridge network, acting as a central command hub. NH Bridge Brigade emphasizes the importance of registration so participants can benefit from this structure.**Safety and communication remain the top priorities.**
