You may have seen news headlines about the Supreme Court taking up a case that could gut voting rights for Black Voters. While the ACLU fights in court, take a moment to tell Congress to pass the the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would restore the Voting Rights Act to its full power and expand its protections, putting a check on diluting minority voting power and other forms of voting discrimination. Send a message to Congress to act now to pass this vital legislation with the ACLU’s easy-to-use form.

  • Book Bans

SB 33 threatens to silence diverse voices and erase stories that deserve to be heard especially those of Black, Brown, LGBTQ+, and marginalized communities. This bill impacts what our children can learn, who they see represented in classrooms, and how they understand the world around them.

BLM NH believes that every child deserves access to honest history, inclusive education, and the power of stories that reflect all of us. When we limit stories, we limit imagination, empathy, and truth.

🖋️ Add your name and share your thoughts on how SB 33 affects our children, educators, and communities. Let’s remind our leaders that our voices — and our stories — matter.
