Hello Friends

We have had a busy couple of weeks and you showed up to defend immigrant rights, support public education, decry attacks on trans kids, support childhood vaccines, fight for fair state budgets, fight against a 20-week abortion ban, and the list goes on. Thank you! Please know, your presence always makes a difference!

This week our visibility events are focused on one day, Thursday, and one topic, the Free State Agenda.  Thursday morning (7:45-9:00AM – note: time change) and Thursday afternoon (2:30-3:30PM) are important visibility events and we need you to show up and stand up with us as we highlight the dangers of the Free State Agenda. This agenda claims that personal liberty is more important than our democracy or the health and welfare of our citizenry. The Free State Agenda is responsible for the $129,000,000 voucher scam and related attacks on public education, attempts to repeal childhood vaccines, slashing state contributions to the state university system (which is already 50th in state support to higher education), cuts to healthcare services to our most vulnerable populations, eliminating the Council of the Arts, the Commission on Aging, and the Child Advocate’s Office … We must stand up and demonstrate that the Free State Agenda does not represent NH values!

We will start outside the State House to greet legislators as they head to their caucuses.  We will then move inside from 8:15-9:00 as legislators enter Reps Hall. As always, we will have signs, but feel free to bring your own.
