Hello Friends

Last week was a crazy week for our visibility team, as we held four excellent visibility events around dangerous bills being voted on in the House and Senate. Throughout the week we focused our energy on exposing the Free State Agenda and the impact it is having on the citizens of New Hampshire. Thank you! While we were conducting our visibility, the leadership in the State House were up to shenanigans and changed the rules in the House, by not allowing discussion on any bills and by loading almost 200 bills into the agenda prior to the crossover date, which insured that all bills would not be voted on (80 bills did not get a vote last week and are now dead). 

This week’s legislative agenda is unusual … several bills are in executive session or do not need special attention from our team. Therefore, we are taking a different tack. One visibility … one hour of your time … and a significant impact – Wednesday afternoon March 18th from 4:00-5:00PM at the State House Arch! We are calling attention to the actions of the NH-GOP and the lack of respect for process and the heartlessness of their votes. Soooo, join the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to make a statement about the NH-GOPs lack of smarts, heart, and courage. Their lack of courage was evident when they suspended discussion of bills and were unwilling to face questions about the impact of the proposed bills last week. And let’s be real, it takes no heart to go after the most vulnerable populations, and no smarts to go after public education!  As always, we will have signs and sign-making materials, and costumes! Join Us!
