FAQs

Can I donate to Kent Street Coalition?

You cannot. Kent Street Coalition is an all-volunteer organization. That means we have no paid staff and do not accept donations of any kind from individuals or political groups. To support our work, simply get involved! We share opportunities to sign in on bills, join protests and rallies, attend educational events, and more. No amount of participation is too little! Everyone is welcome at the level of engagement they are able to take.

How do I become a Kent Street Member?

Kent Street does not have a membership program. You can subscribe to our emails, join us in person, or follow our website or social media to stay up to date on actions and alerts. We encourage you to join a working group or action team if you have a particular area of interest or a skill you would like to offer.

Does KSC have regional or local branches?

Although Kent Streeters live and engage with political actions across the state, we do not have satellite sub-groups. Kent Street is one, large, amorphous body of volunteers coordinating in a variety of ways to achieve shared goals. We do have volunteers who offer support to small grassroots groups just getting started across the state, so if you have a few interested friends that want to take their engagement to the next step in your local community, reach out to us for guidance on getting started!
