Visibility: Opening Days of the NH 2026 Legislative Session

Wednesday, January 7th and Thursday, January 8th State House The NH legislature will be convening on January 7th and 8th to vote on a large number of bills that were retained in committee last session. We will be sharing details as they become available. But we do know that among the bills being considered is HB 155, a GOP effort to cut the Business Enterprise Tax (BET) yet again, handing another break to the biggest corporations while pushing New Hampshire deeper into a self-inflicted budget crisis. Day of Action at the State House

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17 State House, 8 am to Noon Oppose GOP efforts to override Governor Ayotte’s vetoes of bills imposing a book ban, enforcing anti-Trans bathroom policies, expanding exemptions for vaccinations and limiting accessible voting machine access. Deliver a petition to Governor Ayotte and the Executive Council supporting sanctuary communities and urging them to protect Granite Staters from ICE cruelty.
