Opposing Hateful and Dangerous Bills

Good Evening Friends:

The Legislative Session is quickly coming to an end and as we expected the NH-GOP has loaded a significant number of dangerous bills into the final sessions. On Thursday May 14th, both the House and Senate will be in session. The bills on the table include the Campus Carry bill, the voting access bill associated with student IDs, several anti-trans bills, several educational censorship bills, an anti-vaccine bill, and the list goes on. We are supporting two key measures: SB498 Wrap-Around Mental Health Care for Minors and the censure of Representative Corcoran. A crazy line-up!

We only have one visibility this week, so we are hoping for a good showing to support our Democratic Legislators and be a conscience for those on the other side. We are asking you to show up and stand up in opposition to these discriminatory and harmful bills supported by the Free State Project. Our visibility event will take place at the State House from 8-10AM on Thursday.  We will start outside from 8-9ish and then move inside and position ourselves outside Reps Hall and the Senate Chamber as the Representatives and Senators enter to begin the day’s voting. Your presence matters, so, join us!
