Who are the Candidates for state office in NH…and where do they stand on the issues?

Filing for the November 2026 elections with New Hampshire State Office closed on June 12. Anyone who is hasn’t filed with the Secretary of State won’t be on the ballot in November (although write-in campaigns are not uncommon, especially for NH House races). Your job (after you check your voter registration status and register if you haven’t already) is to find out who’s running for local offices in your town or district and learn about them. For incumbent candidates, this means finding out whether they voted with the GOP’s far-right agenda to defund public school, disenfranchise legal voters, and send…

Across the state, we have 1015 ballot inspector roles to fill and we need your help to do it! Individuals who are interested in serving as ballot inspectors can…

Priority Legislative Actions: Week of June 7

Please call Governor Ayotte (603-271-2121) and ask her to veto the Tax Cap bill! HB 1300 (Tax Cap) requires every NH community to include a tax cap question on their ballots during the 2026 and 2028 general elections. Communities can already adopt tax caps during their school budget and town meeting processes. This is much more sensible timing, because at those meetings people are focused on – and debating – budget issues. But once again, extremist Republicans are disregarding our tradition of local control. There are many serious problems with HB1300. But one issue that hasn’t received much attention is that the…
