After June 4, Kent Street will turn its attention to voter education and the November elections, with special focus on holding legislators accountable at the polls.

In case you missed our May monthly meeting (video recording here), take a moment to join our mission of empowering voters to reclaim our voting rights and electoral power leading up to the 2026 midterm elections in November.

This week in voter empowerment:

  • Join KSC for a Voter Protection Program with the NH Democratic Party. This one-hour program will highlight the work the party is doing to support free and fair elections as well as many opportunities to help them register, educate, and empower voters. Register here.
  • Kent Streeters are building out Leafleting Campaigns in their local areas, and need volunteers! Leafleting is different from canvassing in that volunteers simply leavethe information at the door of each persuadable voter. No door knocking, no talking to people.
    • Jaffrey, Rindge, Dublin, and surrounding towns: Register here by 5/28 and an organizer will be in touch with more information.
    • Nottingham, Northwood, Pembroke, and surrounding towns: Register here by May 27 to volunteer and learn more.

Become A Voting Ambassador

  • Check your voter registration and encourage others to do so right now. New voting laws may mean you need to collect proof of citizenship, domicile, or name change documentation. Voter role purges may require you to re-register even if you have voted in the past.
  • Know where to find reliable information and how to share it with others. Check out the resources on the Kent Street Coalition website to start.
  • Subscribe to the KSC Voting Rights Working Group for updates on election protection and opportunities to turn your anxiety into action!

Spread the word: Voter Turnout is the antidote to gerrymandering and voter suppression. Prepare, commit, and VOTE in November.
