| Follow up from our July Kent Street Coalition Meeting: *Contact us to request the video recording of the event. We enjoyed a lively exchange of ideas about how and why we must engage our friends and neighbors about the upcoming elections. Our panelists provided insight, stories, and ideas to guide us through encounters with people across the political spectrum. A key take away from the call, from presenter Martha Rich of Conversation Canvassing New Hampshire, is we must truly listen to others, openly and empathetically, if we are to find what we have in common. Incorporating this practice in all of our interactions, not just when we are talking to people about the elections, will help us build communities we want to be a part of! The meeting recording is included with the resources below. As usual, it is unedited, so please be patient if you encounter hiccups in the video.
