The People’s Primary: Labor Builds, NH Leads.
NH State House, Concord
From the organizers:
Labor Builds, NH Leads
Working-class laborers are more than an afterthought. We are the heart of this state and the backbone of this country. As we elect our next cycle of representatives, they must remember whom they represent: the working class.
NH 50501 invites like-minded candidates to join us for this 501(c)(4) event to answer questions from voters and hear from their potential constituents. With the New Hampshire primary election just three days later, this event will give voters an opportunity to learn about the candidates, ask questions, and make their final decisions.
We ask that candidates bring no more than five staff members to assist them. Each candidate may bring a table and appropriate literature to help voters make their choices. We look forward to sharing ideas and plans for the future.
NH 50501 is committed to collaboration. We recognize that while primary season can be uncomfortable, it is vital that we do our best to come together in support of our communities. Every person has flaws, and in a diverse environment, we will not always agree on every subject. We can choose to listen and attempt to understand.
Join us on September 5. Get to know the candidates and make a plan to vote on September 8.
Updates will be added as available. Kent Street Coalition shares this information so that individuals can make their own choices about which events most speak to their hearts. Please review KSC’s document on protests and rallies, our Decision Tree Regarding Specific Protest Events, and Best Practices for Protesting. The events included below are gathered from public listings on Mobilize, NH 50501, and NoKings.org. Be sure to assess the commitment to nonviolence and safe practices of any protest you attend for yourself. Contact the event’s organizers with your questions.
