During testimony before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on June 24th (this last week!) Postmaster General David Steiner confirmed the United States Postal Service will refuse to deliver mail-in and absentee ballots in any state that fails to comply with Trump’s March 31, 2026, Executive Order on election “integrity.”

The executive order will require the Secy. of Homeland Security to create a list of verified US citizens eligible to vote in each state. This is an unconstitutional attack on millions of Americans who vote by mail and will be done with help from the Social Security Administration. The Constitution empowers only the states to administer elections; not the Postal Service, (Article 1, Section 4, Clause1).
